Strawberry Season; Bette's Oceanview Diner

The strawberries have been in season the whole time I have been here!!  People sell them on the corners by the flat ($20) or half-flat ($12).  These are huge and very sweet!!!



Leigh Anne and I had brunch at Bette's Diner today.  Another very popular Berkeley institution that is famous for their pancakes.  Amazingly, I have not gained weight this last month - must be all the walking.  Leigh Anne and I shared an order of pancakes and an order of homemade granola and yogurt.  Very good!!!  Doug missed out - he is studying for finals next week.
