I DID IT!!!!!

I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge!!!

Today was my big day!  Walking across the bridge has been on my bucket list.  Today was an absolutely gorgeous day.  After church, Leigh Anne and I went to Fat Apples for breakfast and decided today would be the day.  I am absolutely petrified of heights so was apprehensive if I could do it or if I would get that  "just jump and get it over with feeling":)  Leigh Anne did not even have to call for help.  We parked at Vista Point after driving across the bridge twice looking for parking.  It was such a wonderful day that we walked all the way across and back (we thought about walking to the middle and turning around).
You notice that Doug is not in these pictures.  He is still studying away and has his first final tomorrow.    One more week and he will be finished with law school.  He sure is missing some fun times:)

WooHoo! I knew that you could! How close to the edge did you get? Did you get short of breath or nervous?

Love the first picture!! Yes, lady, you did it. A woman who births twins and then 2 years later another one and then many years later drives cross-country by herself ain't no sissy.

One way is about 2 miles (I think!!)

Peggy K - and thank you again for watching the first two while the next door neighbor drove me to the hospital:):) I've been told "growing old ain't for sissies"!!
