Brunch - Couldn't help myself!

Couldn't help myself!!!  After talking about the waffles at the Guerilla Cafe last night, I had to go back this morning.  Since I planned to spend some time browsing at Stone Mountain and Daughter this morning and it was on the way, it seemed the "right" thing to do!  Delicious!!

Stone Mountain and Daughter was a lot of fun, too.  I have been sewing since I was thirteen years old when fabric stores were everywhere.  SM&D is like one of the fabric stores of old.    Lots of interesting fabrics, buttons, etc. and helpful people that actually know how to sew.  After browsing around for a couple of hours,  looking at patterns, etc., I ended up with some linen/rayon blend  for a new Liberty shirt using the Sewing Workshop pattern.

Lots of walking today so I don't feel too badly about my indulgence.

Aaauuugh! that looks so good! I see lots of fruit and no syrup so it must be healthy. Are you going to get to sew on that awesome machine, or just pack it with you? What pattern are you thinking of?

Another Liberty Shirt using the Sewing Workshop pattern. Don't know if I'll make it here or just wait until fall. That little tiny pitcher in the back is syrup:) That big "bowl" is my latte! You are making me confess all.

Mmm, I need one of those today. A latte bowl big enough to do the back stroke in.

I was going to ask if that was a big cup or a big waffle :)

I wish I had known about the fabric store when we were in San Fransisco a couple years ago. I would have loved to wander through there.

Excuse me while I toast my pop-tart and drink my Tang - the best I could do this a.m. I AM SO JEALOUS of this breakfast. Gorgeous!

As if we weren't all green with envy already?! I'm living vicariously through you!

LOL! I should have known you would be interested in food. Doug and Leigh Anne want to go have one now. Today of all days I get an email from my personal trainer (Hi Val!) wanting my blog address. First thing she is going to see is that BIG waffle.

Well, you don't really have anything next to it in the photo for comparison (fruits are ginormous in CA, right?!), so maybe it was the "angle" of the camera?! ; )
